  • I have booked and attended many a function at Victory Hall over the years and have always been pleased with the booking process, space and cleanliness. I was amazed and extremely impressed when we arrived for our end of school party this July to see a wonderful refurbishment had taken place. The hall is now modern, light and airy as well being as spotless as always. Very impressed and would highly recommend it. Kerry Farley Hill School Parent and resident in Arborfield.

  • This is the second time we have booked this venue for family parties. The first time was October 2012 for our daughters 30th birthday party. It proved to be a great party venue with excellent facilities and the party was a huge success. The second time we used the venue was on 5th October 2013 for my grandsons christening celebration. Once again the venue proved excellent with good catering facilities and the projector room kept the older children entertained with a movie which allowed their parents to relax and enjoy the day. A big plus was that it saved wear and tear on my house, so given the convenience and facilities of victory hall I will definitely be considering this as a venue for any future family celebrations and would highly recommend it to anyone contemplating organising family celebrations of any kind.

  • We booked the hall Sunday evening for a family pre-wedding party (mehndi) and it was perfect for about 50 people, could have handled more. Plenty of tables and chairs, comfy sofa area, large dance area, the other smaller room was great to set up the buffet. The kitchen was well equipped, we only needed the microwave and oven. What was most appealing was how nice it looked from the outside and the space for parking. Emma was really helpful and responded quickly to e-mails. I would definitely book this venue again in the future for other events.

  • The Victory Hall, The U3A book this venue on a regular basis and I rate this a very good venue. The Bowls Club premises was taken over by the villages and completely revamped. The hall has very comfortable main hall with soft seating as well as table and chairs around the bar. Small dance floor and more than adequate kitchen. There is a good size committee room seating about 25 people for meetings. The garden is just about being finished and will make a superb outdoor seating area in the summer. The Bowls Club still use their excellent green and welcome new members. There is an excellent well surfaced car park. with a gate that can be locked. The Booking staff are very helpfull. I would recommend any group looking for regular premises to come along and see for themselves. Also brilliant for parties or weddings. We have been made very welcome at the Hall A.Zebedee Wokingham U3A.

  • We hired Victory Hall for our daughter's 5th birthday and found it to be a fabulous venue for a children's party. There was plenty of room for 20+ four and five yr olds to run around, dance and play games, even with tables set up for the party tea. There are comfy seats for parents to relax on too. We also made use of the 'Movie Room' and the children loved the 'big screen' cinema effect! Excellent facilities and booking was easy and efficient. I would definitely recommend to others.
