The venue which comprises of a 7metre by 17metre hall, bar, kitchen and car parking space for 40 vehicles is currently being used by outside community groups. The hall has recently been upgraded to help user comfort by improvements to the heating, lighting, secondary glazing, draught proofing and thereby decreasing the carbon footprint and increasing the over all energy efficiency.

Availability and Hire Costs

Availability: The hall and its associated facilities are readily available for rent or hire during daytime or evenings time. A hall booking system is in place and enquirers should be made to Gordon Mitchell on 01368 86 2824. http://www.dunbarcastlesocialclub.org.uk

Hire Costs: The two halls, refurbished kitchen or bar/lounge can be rented on an as required basis by contacting Gordon Mitchell on 01368 86 2824. Currently there is an hourly fee but if the bar is to be used for a function then the hourly fee may be waived. Parking for approx 30 vehicles.

  • My family rented this hall, kitchen and bar facilities for our daughter’s wedding reception. We were able to spend extra time before hand adding our own decoration and the caterer found the kitchen well suited to deal with the 120 guests for the main meal banquet and later provisioned a buffet supper for the additional guests.
