Hitchin Boys School

The school hall dates from 1932 and opens out onto the quad at the heart of the school. There is a full-sized stage, balcony with seating & access to backstage classroom. There is also a projector screen fitted onto the ceiling of the stage. The school is in the centre of Hitchin; Grammar School Walk located off Bedford Road on the one-way system. We have hosted a vast array of events, held by the school and wider community, such as concerts, plays, music recitals, wedding receptions, barn dances, dance workshops, large meetings and dance school classes among others. Please note the hall can accommodate a large number of people but if tables and chairs are required, there is a maximum of 150 people. Further capacity can be provided by hiring the Dining Hall in addition to the School Hall. The Dining Hall has also been refurbished during the summer of 2015. We have a variety of rooms/halls/sports facilities available to hire in addition to our School Hall.
