Overton & District Memorial Hall was built on donated land following fundraising by the villagers of Overton to commemorate the lives of people who served in the First and Second World Wars.
The Hall is a registered charity (no. 222121) and is managed by a small group of local people. It is our community building providing the community with a place to meet, hold public events and private functions and provide valuable services for the residents of Overton and the surrounding district.
The peaceful and historic fishing village of Overton is south-west of Lancaster, close to Heysham and the mouth of the River Lune. The village occupies the site of a Roman settlement and also boasts an ancient church which has an open turret. There is a 17th century Inn called The Globe in the village, from where a one-mile tidal road crosses the sands to nearby Sunderland point.

Reviews of Overton & District Memorial Hall
1 review
A good sized hall which has been redecorated nice and simply. However, I didn't get any contact from them in responce to my message via here and the website also states that there is a sound system, there isn't! Renting a seperate one was an unexpected expense!
