An historic hall with beamed roof. We have a kitchen, bar and back room in addition to the main hall. Located in beautiful Dorchester on Thames, next to the White Hart hotel and pub. Our Village Hall was built in 1872 and was designed by the well respected architect Sir George Gilbert Scott originally as a girls infant school. The main hall has a superb vaulted ceiling and an open, unobstructed layout that can seat up to 100 people for sit-down eating, with meals available from our own fully-equipped kitchen or local catering companies. We have a permanent equipped bar facing a reception area that leads to a second, self-contained meeting room at the rear of the building. The building has gas central heating; wireless Broadband; an excellent acoustic; padded seating for up to 100; standing capacity for 140 people; tables, crockery and cutlery for hire, flipchart and projector.
