We used this venue for a wedding reception and evening do for around 140 guests. The building itself is beautiful! It was big enough to fit tables for everyone, the seats were extremely comfortable. We used the kitchen to cater for the wedding, it was a bit on the small side but we managed. We had live music in the evening and the stage area was ideal for this. There is a smaller room at the back which opens out into the main hall, we used it to serve tea and coffee and cakes as guests arrived, then in the evening this was perfect for people who preferred a quieter space to sit and observe the dancing. Not only was the venue amazing but the Church that hired it to us were lovely, the vicar was very helpful during the planning and provided extra tables for us, let us use crockery and cutlery (even taking an inventory for us beforehand so that we would know how many were available) and allowed us to come in the night before to set up. I highly recommend this venue for parties, music events and meals, and it wasn’t expensive either!
About St.Anne's Church Centre
A traditional 19thcentury anglican church, completly refurbished inside to provide a flexible community space as well as worship centre, St.Anne's is in Edgeside in the beautiful Rossendale Valley. It has an auditorium to seat 150, a meeting room to seat 30, Kitchen and disabled toilets and access.
