Cookley Village Hall and Sports Club

The building consists of a Village Hall with stage area, a Sports Club with lounge bar and snooker room as well as two meeting rooms. The village hall is available for weddings, anniverary, christening and birthday parties, funeral wakes and other private functions plus plays, shows and fundraising events. It is also available for hire on a regular basis for meetings and sports activities such as circuit training, yoga, Zumba and table tennis. The main hall is approximately 15.5 x10 metres with a stage area of 50m2 . It can seat up to 200 people theatre-style and 100 people for functions. The hall has its own fully equipped bar and adjoining seated area (Meeting Room 2), with a separate access via hatch to a kitchen to serve refreshments. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, fridge, crockery and cutlery etc. The hall opens on to a veranda which overlooks the bowls green. Meeting Room 1 & Internet cafe seats 12 for conference meetings or 16 in classroom style. Meeting Room 2 is 35m2 will seat 20 around a conference table or 30 in classroom style. Equipped with overhead projector linked to the internet or television. Meeting room 2 has access to the a bar and the kitchen through a servery hatch. There is ample car parking adjacent to the hall. The village church is very close by.
