Venue hire and catering in the heart of Elgin.
The Inkwell and the Community Kitchen alongside the The warehouse (Elgin Youth Cafe).
We are a Social Enterprise who offer room hire, catering & cookery classes to a wide range of local groups.
The Inkwell consists two spaces for hire (see below) which are ideal for activities including Training, AGM’s, Meetings and Networking.
Our rental costs include Wifi, Screen set up, Whiteboards and spacial set-up options tailored to your individual needs.
In addition to room hire, we offer catering such as refreshments & homebakes, as well as lunches individually boxed buffet options. Made onm-suite from Cafe@The Warehouse.  For a full list and prices contact the Inkwell Team at [email protected]
All profits generated will support our work with young people and the activities we offer at The Warehouse (Elgin Youth Cafe), as well as allowing us to offer employability & training opportunities to under 25's.

Inkwell Main – A large bright studio space to host meetings, AGMs, training & networking. Suitable for up to two facilitators and 25 seated individuals, or 20 in a workshop environment.

Inkwell Community Kitchen – A purpose built training kitchen suitable of hosting up to 8 students. This space is available for hire with or without a member of teaching staff.

Availability and Hire Costs

Availability: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm *Out-of-hours hires can be requested. Availability is limited and additional charges apply.

Hire Costs: Inkwell Main (Weekdays) - Wednesday & Thursday only : 9am-12:30pm & 1:30pm-5pm | £63 per 3.5 hour session. Inkwell Main (Out of hours) - Monday to Friday : between 5:30pm and 10pm | Pricing and availability can be discussed on request. *Free Wifi, whiteboards & screen available. Various room room set-up options to suit individual needs. Catering & Refreshment options on request. _____________________________________________________ Community Kitchen (Weekdays) - Monday to Friday : 9am – 5pm | £20 per hour (without instructor) | £35 per hour (with instructor & ingredients). Community Kitchen (Out of hours) - Monday to Friday : between 5:30pm and 10pm | Pricing and availability can be discussed on request however, they will require an instuctor to be present. *Both options allow the use of the pantry.
