Welburn Village Hall

This superb venue is the ideal place to hold your next event and ensure that it’s a great success. It is conveniently located in the pretty village of Welburn which is just a mile off the A64 between York and Malton and close to Castle Howard in the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Newly built with a timber frame construction in 2007 and incorporating many renewable technologies, its architect was commended for her work on the hall in the Best Sustainable Project category in the 2009 North & East Yorkshire LABC Building Excellence Awards. The Main Hall has a capacity of 110 people for private functions such as wedding receptions, family parties or group social events.  The smaller Meeting Room, can be hired together with, or separately from the Main Hall. Comfortably seating up to 20 people theatre style or 14 around the meeting table the Meeting Room is perfect for smaller gatherings. There is also a modern, well equipped kitchen. All areas have been designed with disabled access in mind. Parking for 5 cars is available outside the hall with more parking within short walking distance.
