The Victoria Rooms is a delightful old building in the heart of the beautiful Georgian village of Milverton, Somerset. Milverton is 7 miles west of Somerset's county town of Taunton and is within easy reach of the neighbouring county of Devon and also Exmoor National Park. The Rooms consist of a main hall with a beautiful vaulted ceiling and a stage together with the Reading Room (which can be booked independently from the main hall for smaller functions). There is also a kitchen with double oven, fridge, dishwasher and water boiler. There is a disabled toilet in addition to the ladies' & gents' facilities. The Rooms are suitable for a variety of events, including concerts, wedding receptions, birthday parties and day or evening courses.

Availability and Hire Costs

Availability: The Rooms are available for hire at all reasonable times. However, as it is a popular venue please ring our Bookings Secretary to check availability.

Hire Costs: From 1st October 2024 the hire charge for local residents for the Main Hall is £21 for the first 2 hours and £10 per 2hrs thereafter and the hire charge for the Reading Rooms is £14 for the first 2 hours and £7 per 2hrs thereafter. Please contact the Bookings Secretary for the non-Parish and commercial rates. Additional fees apply for licences and use of other facilities - again please contact our Bookings Secretary to discuss your requirements.

I can't leave a proper review as we didn't use this hall. This was due to the fact that no one responded to our inquiry. I even tried phoning the number supplied several times and got no response. Very disappointing!
