The Institute has been at the heart of Rothbury life since 1897. It is situated at the centre of the village, on the edge of the wonderful Northumberland National Park, and a stone's throw from the River Coquet.
After extensive renovation it was re-opened by Their Royal Highness-es Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall in November 2006.
Main hall holds 249 people, three other rooms hold 60-75, while two smaller rooms are available for 15-25 people. There is a lift for access to the upstairs conference room.
