The Church building is conveniently located on the market place in Buxton with adjacent pay and display parking available and good access to the public transport network.
Four separate areas of the Church building may be hired, with access to their own tea and coffee making facilities.
Rooms can be laid out to your requirements by our caretakers using our large number of available tables and chairs.
Our venue is suitable for meetings, training, concerts, children's parties and exercise groups.
We are also a popular venue during the annual Buxton Festival Fringe.
Three of our four rooms have level access, hearing loops and access to disabled toilet facilities.
Baby changing facilities are available.
MAIN HALL
This room has level access and a capacity of up to 100.
The room has a hearing loop,projector screen,upright piano and blackout.
Tables and chairs are available in the room
It is close to the large downstairs kitchen where drinks may be made and has level access to toilets including disabled and baby changing facilities.
This room is suitable for larger meetings,dancing,children's parties etc.
LOWER ROOM
This has a capacity up to 40 and has level access by arrangement- otherwise 5 steps from ground level
The room can be use as one room or partitioned in two or partly partitioned.
The room has tables and chairs available.
Access to toilets including disabled and baby changing facilities.
Included in room is a kitchenette ,hearing loop and blackout and electric piano
UPPER ROOM
This has a capacity of up to 40 and includes a kitchenette.
Tables and chairs are available in the room.
There is an adjacent toilet.
Access is via stairs only.
MAIN CHURCH
This has a capacity of up to 200 and has level access.
There is a screen in the church and the chairs and church furniture are movable.
Also includes :-Raised chancel(stage) 8.2m x 5.5m
Integral tea and coffee making facilities and toilets
Organ and grand piano
Microphones plus loop system
The Main Church is a popular venue for recitals,concerts and large public meetings.
Availability and Hire Costs
Availability: Please inquire directly for specific availability.The hiring period is from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm with all seven days being available (excluding bank holidays)
Hire Costs: Prices are:-
£12.50 per hour for the Upper Room and Lower room
£21 per hour for the Main Hall and
£37.50 per hour for the Main Church
