Nestling in the Surrey Hills, KGV is set in 33 acres of grass and woodland in a quiet lane off the A246. Close to Box Hill, it is only 10 minutes from the M25, Leatherhead, Dorking and Guildford. A village hall opening onto sweeping lawns, equipped with a comprehensive conferencing system and high quality installed audio and visual equipment, including hearing loop. The King George V Hall offers a self-catering kitchen and seating for up to 120 people. The smaller upstairs club is also available, with a magnificent view from the balcony and a professional kitchen (not suitable for people with mobility problems as it is accessed via by staircase). Outside there are children's playgrounds and adults and exercise areas, tennis courts, hard play area, the cricket green, 4 rugby and two football pitches, all available for hire. Parking for 80 cars. The hall is usually only available outside school term time, while the club is available every day but is up one flight of stairs and there is no lift.

Availability and Hire Costs

Availability: The main hall is available at weekends and during the week outside school hours and any time outside school term. Also available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon all year round. The upstairs club has limited access during the rugby season.

Hire Costs: As a rough guide, the main hall is £18-£30 per hour with discounts for block bookings including chidren's parties (Saturday £75, Sunday £60 for 4 hours). The upstairs club is more negotiable, capacity is a little less and we can do deals from as little as £10 per hour. Pitches cost £75 for one-off bookings (£65 for block bookings), tennis £5 per hour.
