The Acland Memorial Hall, Cold Ash

A warm, bright, spacious and well-equipped village hall located at the centre of the village of Cold Ash in Berkshire. 

Easy access from the M4 (12 mins).  Two self-contained spaces for hire, with preferential hire rates for parish residents.  Newly decorated throughout • Adjacent to outdoor playground and the village’s large recreation area • Flexible hire options: Main Hall (140m2), smaller Committee Room (38m2) or both available to hire together • Both rooms for hire have serving hatch access to kitchen • Heated, modern kitchen has two sinks, fridge, electric oven, hob and extractor hood (new in 2018), microwave, large electric urn, kettle, mugs, plates and cutlery • Ladies and Gents cloakrooms with an additional children’s-level sink. Separate disabled toilet with baby changing facilities • Main Hall (comfortably seats 100 with stage) has blackout curtains and blinds for daytime parties and the showing of films and presentations • Committee Room (max capacity 60, comfortably seats 50) has blackout curtains and a wireless/wired overhead projector and drop-down screen. Other services and equipment include tables and comfortable upholstered chairs, stage and free fast fibre-optic WIFI • Large car park with 36 spaces (of which 3 are reserved for disabled drivers).  Sports home/away or male/female Changing and shower rooms available.  Hall has full disabled access via ramps, a disabled toilet and a hearing loop.  Please note: there is a minimum hire period of three hours on Saturdays, and the Hall is not available to hire for parties or discos on Saturday nights.

Also available to hire is a state-of-the-art multimedia system comprising  138" motorised screen, bluetooth enabled HDR projector, Blu-ray/DVD player and full surround-sound speakers.   It's also possible to 'plug and play' almost any device using our HDMI cable.  

We also have an overhead projector and drop-down screen in the Committee Room

In addition, we have a portable bluetooth speaker and wireless headset microphone for hands-free presenting.
