About St John the Evangelist
St John's is a grade II listed parish church built in the C13th style by the Gothic Revival architect JW Hugall in 1861. It is set in an elevated position overlooking the village.
The church interior was converted in 2010 to offer comfortable and adaptable space with a refreshment area and comfortable seating, fully accessible toilets, under floor heating and a state- of- the- art audio visual system. The hall can seat upto 100 people.
Whilst still being used for church services, weddings, funerals the building can also be hired to host a range of events and activities
