About Hurstbourne Priors Village Hall
A pretty Edwardian village hall, situated opposite the recreation ground, and ancient St Andrew’s church, it was built circa 1910 and was given to the people of Hurstbourne Priors by the Earl of Portsmouth in 1978. A registered charity, its management is administered by a committee of Trustees.
This light spacious hall with well-equipped modern kitchen is the perfect venue for celebrations; from children's parties to wedding receptions. With easy access from the B3400 Andover-Whitchurch road and parking, it is also suitable for seminars, club meetings, exercise classes and much more.
With financial assistance from the National Lottery Community Fund, Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council and Hampshire County Council, the hall was extended and refurbished in 2002. New toilet facilities and access for the disabled were constructed.
The main hall is 14.8m x 16.01m, can be used by groups and individuals of all ages, and is available for hire 7-days a week, 8am - 11pm and holds a Public Entertainment License. A maximum of 120 people can use the hall at any one time, with seating capacity of 75 people.
