About The Theatre Centre
The Theatre Centre is a purpose-built rehearsal space and workshop for arts professionals and creative industry groups, including musicians, artists, dancers and actors.
The Studio is a flat open space, with lino floor covering, measuring 9.80m x 8m. The Studio is curtained all around to create a ‘blue box’. Height is 5m to rig. There is a room attached to this that is 9.80m by 4m and 2.56m high, which can be closed off with a curtain. A fixed lighting rig is also available.
The Workshop is used for creating sets, props and backcloths and has a paint frame that can easily take backcloths and gauzes measuring 5m x 5m. The Workshop also has conveniently located power supply points, sinks, worktops and a drying cabinet.
The Theatre Centre also has a dressing room, wardrobe facilities and Green Room.
