Situated between Great Malvern and Ledbury, at the foot of the Malvern Hills, Colwall Ale House is a beautiful 16th century hall situated next to the churchyard of St. James the Great in Colwall, Herefordshire. Built in the reign of Henry VIII, it was completely restored in the late 80s and continues to be used by the community. It can be hired for club meetings, talks, classes, music and drama rehearsals, annual dinners, birthday and anniversary parties, childrens’ parties, funeral refreshments and wedding receptions.
There is seating for 60, a selection of tables and a kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge, china, cutlery and wine glasses. Access is easy for the disabled and there is ample parking in the Church carpark.
