Polesworth Community and Scout Activity Centre

Based in the enviable surroundings of Pooley Country Park, our HQ is a purpose built Activity Centre, able to offer everything from function rooms, though to weekend camping and adventurous activities. The centre briefly comprises 2 large ground floor rooms, male, female and disabled and toilets, showers and changing areas, and 2 smaller first floor rooms. Outside there is a grassed area for camping of around 50 people (dependant on tents used), games or large scale projects. We are located on the edge of Pooley Country Park with direct access to the Coventry Canal, River Anker for kayaking and raft builidng and the open spaces and woodland of the Country Park itself. In the local area there are many attractions, inlcluding Drayton Manor theme park, Tamworth Snowdome, a variety of wildlife reserves and historic sites. We accept bookings for weekends, daytime and evenings at competitive rates. As we are staffed solely by volunteers, activity bookings are subject to the availability of coaches. There is a charge for car parking during normal opening hours of the Country Park.
