Community Hall of Yarmouth & District (CHOYD)

We are a short walk from the ferry and can accommodate up to 200 people for informal (standing) occasions, or 100 seated. On-site catering is easy from our refitted kitchen and the bar with bar staff, can also be booked to add some cheer to your event.
Currently we offer for hire the sunny rear Hall known as The River Room, and the Middle Room connecting to the Bar, Foyer and (brand new) Toilets.
We have a range of furniture, crockery, equipment and layouts to suit many types of function including: private parties, receptions, corporate and charity events, meetings, sales, training classes, social evenings, games, exercise, and exhibitions.
Availability and Hire Costs
Availability: Available any day of the week from early morning to late night, 7 days a week. Please check our website to see if the Hall is free.
Hire Costs: Prices start from £12 per hour, which includes use of the kitchen for light refreshments. Please see our website for further information.
