About Community Hall of Yarmouth & District (CHOYD)
The Community Hall of Yarmouth and District (CHOYD) is an ideal venue for a range of celebrations, parties, events and activities.
We are a short walk from the ferry and can accommodate up to 200 people for informal (standing) occasions, or 100 seated. On-site catering is easy from our refitted kitchen and the bar with bar staff, can also be booked to add some cheer to your event.
Currently we offer for hire the sunny rear Hall known as The River Room, and the Middle Room connecting to the Bar, Foyer and (brand new) Toilets.
We have a range of furniture, crockery, equipment and layouts to suit many types of function including: private parties, receptions, corporate and charity events, meetings, sales, training classes, social evenings, games, exercise, and exhibitions.
