About Basildon Village Hall and Recreation Ground
The hall complex was built in 2004 and consists of the Dixon Hall (17.4m x 9.75m) and the Bruton Hall (9.75m x 6.7m). Other facilities include sports changing rooms, green room, committee room for up to 15 people and a large kitchen with a commercial refrigerator. range cooker and microwave oven. Rectangular and round tables are available plus around 180 chairs. Cutlery, crockery and a limited number of glasses are available. There are wall mounted screens in all rooms as well as a projector available for use. A private patio area to the side of the hall plus direct access to the recreation ground and car park is available. The recreation ground provides open play areas, a children's play area and semi private outdoor space to allow your event to extend outside.
Children's birthday parties include exclusive use of the whole hall at a rate of £70 for four hours hire. Regular bookings and one off hires are available on request with the bookings secretary.
