About Oakwood Centre
Surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Woodford Park, the Oakwood Centre is the perfect modern venue for corporate or private events and performances in its bespoke theatre, The Alan Cornish Theatre.
Each versatile and flexible room is flooded by natural daylight through large windows or doors which overlook the park. Tastefully decorated in neutral colours, each room is ready for clients to dress and style to suit their theme and event, whether it’s a wedding reception, awards dinner, business presentation, anniversary celebration or baby shower. The Oakwood Centre offers tailored packages for events from 1-150 people for private functions in the Berkshire area, in its light, bright and airy rooms.
With a range of room sizes available, the rooms can also be linked to create a larger space that can host up to 150 guests, whether you require a formal seated dinner, an informal drinks reception or the space for a dance floor. The Miles Suite, for smaller or more intimate celebrations, is particularly spectacular with its glass dome dimensions overlooking Woodford Park and its beautiful glass dome ceiling bringing in beautiful sunshine or a starlit sky.
