About Dennington Jubilee Hall
Dennington Jubilee Hall was built in 1985 and was at that time the only village hall for miles around. It has been used for years by many and continues to offer a wide range of facilities.
It has recently undergone a massive refurbishment programme to the tune of £300,000 and is looking amazing. The main hall and ladies toilets are outstanding and make a real difference.
It is a much loved community centre which hosts many amazing events, including theatrical performances by the Tickled Pink Drama Company, Eastern Angles, a variety of weddings, discos, Jazz nights, concerts, art exhibitions, many birthday parties and even a rabbit show, to name but a few.
We offer the following facilities:
• A full-sized sports hall – available for stage productions (we have a portable stage), weddings, dinners, disco’s, concerts, wakes and sports functions of all types i.e. badminton, volley ball and children’s indoor football.
• An excellent kitchen facility with a 6 hob Lincat cooker
• A fully operational bar – with excellent prices.
• A meeting room – used for committee meetings, training days, presentations, coffee mornings, discussion groups and much more. We now have a 49″ television and sound bar which allows for full presentations from a laptop or similar, sports viewing events, film evenings and karaoke evenings. We have wifi installed.
• Brand new Toilets and Changing/shower rooms
• An expansive car park (ideal for large events)
• An adjacent Sports field (football), a tennis court and a children's playground
