About Hatley Village Hall
A clean, pleasant and roomy hall which can seat 85.
The building and facilities are well maintained – most recently with WiFi, handrails along the front steps and new toilets – described by one visitor as ‘worthy of a grand hotel’.
- The entire toilet area was completely renewed, replumbed and retiled in spring 2022 – there are now two separate unisex loos and a large ‘wheelchair friendly’ loo (which also houses the baby-changing unit).
- A new kitchen and boiler were installed in March 2016.
- The tables and chairs were renewed in 2014.
- New internal doors were fitted in 2019 – and the fire escape signage renewed in 2020.
The hall can be used for meetings, talks, discos, private parties and wedding receptions.
The acoustics are very good – and we only take one booking per session (so you won’t have to share the hall with anyone).
It is a viable alternative to other local halls if they are too expensive or already booked – hire rates are very competitive at £12.00/hour. Commercial lettings are at £30.00 / first hour, thereafter £15.00 / hour.
