About Wilbarston Village Hall
Wilbarston Village Hall occupies a stunning location, with beautiful views over the Welland valley. Midway between Market Harborough and Corby, the Hall is surrounded by open green spaces and has a well-equipped children’s play area adjacent to the building. There is a large car park with plenty of off-road parking along Carlton Road.
The building is suitable for a variety of functions. Currently, regular users operate clubs for art, badminton, indoor bowls, dance, dog training, Mums and Tots, Pilates, singing, Tai Chi Qigong.
Keys to the hall are provided via a key safe located near the front door. The access code will be supplied prior to the booked time.
The open green space immediately adjacent is accessible from the hall and may be used for outside activities – subject to discussion and the agreement of the management committee. There are floodlights on the outside of the hall to light up the immediate area if required.
The main hall spans approximately 15m x 8m x 3.7m and can be configured in various ways:-
- 130 seats in cinema-style
- 88 seats for dining
- Standing capacity for up to 250 people
The hall includes a 7.3m x 3.6m stage.

- PA system and lighting
- Wi-Fi (hyperfast broadband provided by Gigaclear)
- Projector and screen
Additionally, there’s a well-stocked inventory of portable tables and chairs.
Access to the outside green space is available via two sets of doors.
The Hall operates a well-stocked bar with trained bar staff. We can offer you a wide range of bottled beers, lagers, wines + spirits.
Our Bar manager is happy to discuss your requirements in advance of your event and will make every effort to meet your needs – subject to availability.
The kitchen has all the modern equipment needed including:
- a large gas cooker
- smaller electric cooker
- fridge
- microwave
- water boiler
- crockery and utensils
It has a large hatch which allows serving food and drinks to the adjacent main hall very convenient. It also has direct access through to the Lounge. Lockable cupboards are available for regular users.
The Lounge / Meeting Room measures some 9m x 5m and is ideal for meetings, training courses and catering buffets and teas etc. The lounge has a separate bar which can be used in conjunction with the main bar. There are four large tables, several low `coffee tables` and soft seated chairs.
The lounge can seat a maximum of 45 people.
We have a projector and screen available which can be used via HDMI cable or Wi-Fi from any suitable device.
