Berden Village Hall

Berden Village Hall is a converted Methodist chapel, much improved and extended over the years. Berden is on the Herts/Essex borders, 8 miles northwest of Bishops Stortford and the hall lies on the edge of the village. The building has one main hall, and a small side area that is carpeted, and has informal seating. There are large grounds comprising a patio and lawns, suitable for marquees or gazebos if required. The grounds are fenced off from the car park, so are safe for children. There is easy access for wheelchair users or for parents with buggies. There are plenty of tables and chairs, and a well equipped kitchen. The hall is ideal for meetings, exercise classes or craft groups, and is popular for children's parties and family celebrations. It is licensed for 120, but accommodates 80 very comfortably seated at tables. There is a large projection screen for presentations, and self-assembly staging is also available.
