About The Old Boat Corner Community Centre
Old Boat Community Centre is a well used and flexible venue set in Hollingbury, Brighton, adjacent to Carden Park. It was originally created to provide an affordable meeting place for local groups and families in the Hollingbury, Coldean and Patcham areas. Over the years it has proved to be very successful.
The Community Centre is available for rent to local groups, other organisations and parties. If you are interested in finding out more about making a booking, email the centre or call in and see the facilities for yourself.
We can hire rooms by the hour, 3 hour party bookings or contact us with your specific requirements.
The Centre offers a large sports hall, family room as well as other facilities. The facilities are ideal for parties, sport clubs, training sessions, meetings, weddings. A licensed bar can be provided should you require one, call to discuss your requirements.
The centre has accessible facilities (access and toilets), FREE parking (an ever increasing problem in Brighton) and good bus service from the city.
The Centre Cafe serves drinks, sandwiches, pasta, chips and snacks. Open 7 days a week. Monday to Friday 10:00 to 13:45 and 10:00 to 14:45 at weekends.
The Community Centre is a registered charity and is run by a committee on a voluntary basis.
