About Headley Village Hall
Headley Village Hall and Stores were built and given to the village in 1903 and have been owned through a charity since 1919. In recent years, the interior of this characterful building has been renovated and updated, and offers an excellent venue for meetings, classes and social events.
Located near Epsom, Ashtead and Leatherhead, Headley Village Hall is in a picturesque setting, overlooking open fields in the Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty where there are many pleasant walks. The hall is conveniently situated adjacent to the village shop, tea-room and popular village pub, the Cock Inn. Free parking is available adjacent to the hall. There is disabled access to the hall, and wifi is available. Catering may be organised through the tea rooms, if desired.
The hall size is light and airy and measures 30’ x 19’ (9.2m x 5.8m). It has seating capacity for 60 people. Comfortable, upholstered dining chairs and 10 tables are supplied. Outside is a garden with wooden tables and seating (including parasols for sunny days), all available for hire for a small supplement.
In 2021, a new fully fitted kitchen was installed with a double sink, large island and brand new appliances including a dishwasher, hob, double oven with built-in microwave and tall larder fridge (with a cooler section for storing chilled items, ice cubes etc). The kitchen is also fully equipped with glassware, crockery, cutlery, urn and kettles.
In 2022/3, new washrooms and toilets were installed, in 2024 the main hall was refurbished, and in 2025 improvements were made to the garden with rear access newly provided from the hall.

Hire rates for the hall compare favourably with other local venues. Discounts are provided for Headley residents and block bookings.
