Great little hall. Perfect for the amount of people we had there (approx 50). Clean toilets. Nice and quiet so we were able to have the doors open as it was a very warm evening
About St Laurence Church Halls (4) for hire
The halls are ideally situated off the main thoroughfare in Upminster. They are suitable for a variety of uses, such as dancing, drama, children's groups, yoga, martial arts and for interest groups, such as art and chess. The halls are available for hire for “one-off” events, such as children's parties (for under-11s), craft fairs etc.
All of the halls have toilet facilities. The Main and Minor Halls include a disabled toilet with baby changing area. There is a small, free car park (available on a first-come-first-serve basis).
Halls can be rented at very competitive prices with reduced charges for regular users.
The Main Hall can accommodate up to 150 people. It has a large kitchen, for food preparation, and serving hatch.
The Minor Hall can accommodate 60 people. No kitchen facilities are included.
The Derham & Hurford Halls can each accommodate 60 people. Kitchen facilities with an electric oven and hob are included.
