St Leonard’s is unique: it offers modern facilities in a historic building originating in the 12th century. A quarter of a million pounds of investment has produced a stunning interior: a warm, comfortable venue with underfloor heating, new WC’s, including one with access for the disabled, and a gallery on the mezzanine floor, accessible by stairlift, which accommodates a dining area and kitchen.The building is eminently suitable for a range of events including meetings, conferences, lectures, theatrical and other performances, concerts and parties. There are comfortable seats that can be moved to any configuration required, a sound system that includes an inductive loop for the hard of hearing, WiFi Broadband and an excellent electric piano. Outside there is a pleasant paved terrace, ideal for sitting out in the summer. Additional items that can be hired include marquees to provide additional covered accommodation, staging, stage lighting and sound systems. Hirers may use the Gallery Kitchen for their own catering.
