Farthinghoe Village Hall is at the edge of the village, in a lovely rural location. We have space for 20+ cars and plenty of outside space.
We are on the outskirts of the lovely Northamptonshire village of Farthinghoe and approx 4 miles from junction 11 of the M40.
We have a main hall and a committee room (which is ideal for small business meetings).
The Hall is equipped with tables and chairs to seat 99 people and the floor was upgraded in September 2019 with a beautiful bamboo flooring. Skirting heating has also been added, with electric wall heaters to boost the heat if needed. These heaters take £1 per hour.
Fibre wifi was added in February 2020, the stage was enhanced with curtains in April 2021 and the kitchen was completely remodelled in 2022.
Our kitchen contains a range oven and has hatches to both the hall and meeting room, as well as crockery and cutlery.
There is a bar with hatches to the main hall as well as outside access via a window, should you wish to have an outside event. We also have a BBQ and some lovely outside space.
There are two marquees which can be erected outside in the hall grounds.
The main Hall has a stage with lighting and there is a PA system and projector if required, as well as our great glitter ball!
Accessibility - The Hall is accessible to all with ramps and a separate disabled toilet facility.
Availability and Hire Costs
Availability: We have regular bookings during the week, weekends are generally available for weddings, parties etc. Our website has a live calendar so you can check if your proposed dates are available
Hire Costs: Main Hall Hourly Rate £6 (Villagers), £11 (Regular hirers), £16 (one-off/irregular hire) Hall Hire for Weddings - we offer a weekend/two days package which includes a half day before and after set up and breakdown. Please contact us for more details. Marquee Hire £125. We have another marquee with open sides that can also be hired for £95. Both of these are for use at the hall only. The hire charge includes all lighting and hot water as necessary. It also includes the use of all available long tables and chairs, together with the kitchen facilities and crockery and cutlery.
