Gracepoint is a wonderfully unusual and historic Grade II listed building in the heart of Islington. This auditorium style venue was built by the famous architect George Coles and can currently hold over 1,100 guests’ theatre/conference style. The auditorium floor area measures 3,826 sq. m / 41,190 sq. ft.

Our venue has the perfect wow factor for your events with its magnificent art Deco style, suffused with an Egyptian theme. Haven previously been the Carlton Cinema and then, a Mecca bingo hall, this beautiful venue is now available to host all kinds of events including Conferences, Concerts, presentations, product launch, Screenings etc.

The venue is equipped with over 9metres deep, 13metres wide stage to accommodate all kinds of performance led events and presentations. The venue comes with 2 front of house areas, 2 back stage offices and a large reception area. It also, has full stage facilities including a high resolution front projected screen, sound and standard stage lights.

Essex road is also, served by various London buses like 271, 341, 476, 38, 76, 56 (These buses stops immediately in front of the building or a few distant away) AND buses 4, 43, 19, 30, 153 etc. stops some 10 minutes’ walk away from the venue
