About Twickenham Rowing Club
Twickenham Rowing Club was founded on the 26 July 1860 and is, jointly with the Thames Rowing Club, the third oldest rowing club on the Thames. This Victorian boathouse, on Eel Pie Island, sits on an uniquely beautiful stretch of the River Thames making it an idyllic place to row.
Our clubhouse has recently been refurbished and extended and is now the perfect venue for special occasions such as birthdays and weddings as well as corporate events or rugby hospitality. We can accommodate 80 guests for a standing/buffet event (or 60 seated for dining) in the clubhouse alone or 140 (120 seated) when the gymnasium is included.
