Hall was booked for grandsons 5 th Birthday. There were 30 children plus helpers and parents . Plenty of room for a Sports Party and tables and chairs and parking . Good communication with booking and meeting at hall at start and finish !

We hired this hall for our son's 18th birthday party. It has recently been refurbished (late 2011) and looks really nice. The main hall is really big with loads of tables and chairs available. The booking people and caretaker were very friendly and helpful and there is good parking now too. We had our music pretty loud and you could barely hear it outside. The facilities are bright and clean. I would have given it four and a half stars if possible - half a star off because the fridge is tiny and the cooker is a normal domestic one (catering for a large event here is not possible without bringing the food in already done) - but the site only allows whole stars so four out of five. Overall I'd recommend it highly and we found it to be good value too.
