Our village hall is suitable for a wide variety of functions. Located in the small rural village of Steeple in the Dengie Hundred, it is a hub for community events as well as an ideal venue for a wide variety of activities, meetings and gatherings.
Purpose built in 2004, the hall boasts modern facilities including a main hall with stage & sound system (inc. hearing loop), small meeting room, fully equipped kitchen, shower facilities and its own off-road parking.
The hall has a seating capacity of 60 persons with a maximum capacity of 90 persons.
Hire includes*: All heating & utilities; use of tables & chairs; free parking; use of showers; use of kitchen & equipment; use of sound system. There is a minimum hire of two hours per booking. Booking terms and conditions apply.
Availability and Hire Costs
Availability: Available for hire weekdays, weekends, evenings and public holidays. Overnight hire is available subject to committee agreement.
Hire Costs: Main Hall (inc. use of kitchen): Monday to Friday - £8 per hour Saturdays - £15.00 per hour* Sundays - £13.00 per hour* * Includes use of Committee Room and kitchen Committee Room (inc. use of kitchen): Monday to Friday - £5 per hour There is a minimum hire charge of two hours per booking. A refundable deposit may be required in addition to the hire charge. Booking terms and conditions apply.
