About Beare Green Village Hall RH54RD
This is probably the best village hall in Surrey. You may know us from being a regional covid vaccine hub. We are a spacious, modern and clean village hall. The main hall with its projector and screen (+ sound) and large attached kitchen, is enormous at 14.7m by 10.7m and can seat up to 140 on comfortable seats. It has a capacity of 280 if standing. It is ideal for children's parties with good soundproofing via new anti-echo, sound-absorbing tiles, dimmable LED lighting, good heating, and can be blacked out if required. At 5.5m the ceiling is unusually high. You can connect to our Denon amplifier using Airplay on apple phones or using the HEOS app on Android (must be connected to same wifi, the hall's, as the amp for that to work).
The projectors in main and small hall both connect to the HDMI socket on your laptop. Main hall projector strips out audio on your HDMI and feeds it to the amplifier if your laptop is recent and outputs combined sound and video on the HDMI. Front hall has to have its sound fed to it from a 3.5mm stereo jack socket on your laptop or its adaptor if you have one.
A smaller hall at the front also has a projector and screen (+ sound) and its own small kitchen, is 5.4m by 5.3m and is suitable for groups of up to 45. The meeting room is a third room, able to seat 20, 4.75m by 4.4m, again with a screen and sound. Bookings and costs can be seen at :
www.bgca.org.uk/ - the hall serves as a local cinema every second Saturday evening of the month
We are heated using two heat pumps, one in main hall one in small hall, plus radiants as a supplement if it's very cold (to be used only in addition to the heat pumps). We have two 7 kW EV chargers at the hall (you'll need the Podpoint app and credit on it, to use them). You can park on the charger spaces when unloading your food into the hall but don't then leave the charger spaces blocked please if your car is not on charge.
