A recently renovated, spacious and well-equipped village hall in an idyllic and peaceful location on the northern edge of the New Forest. The hall has parking for 50 cars and overlooks Hatchet Green where cattle and ponies graze and cricket is played regularly on weekend afternoons.

On the ground floor a large entrance lobby provides ample space to welcome your guests or clients and hanging space for their coats, with room for a table as well. 

The Main Hall 

Seats 120 theatre style or 80 to 90 people comfortably at our square or oblong tables. We offer a choice of 90 comfortable upholstered chairs or 100 lighter folding chairs.

A portable stage is available for use with all hires on request, together with a hearing loop sound system, dimmable lighting and spotlights. 

Superfast Broadband and WIFI are available, and a remote controlled projector and screen. 

The disabled toilet with baby changing facilities is accessed from the main hall.

The Kitchen 

Our recently fitted, 5 star-rated commercial kitchen has large capacity fridge and freezer, 6 ring commercial gas cooker, hot cupboard and high speed commercial dishwasher. Trained users and chefs may also have use of a commercial food mixer and MKN Combi Oven.

Crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided for at least 80 place settings. Cooks and chefs are advised to bring saucepans and oven trays when catering for large numbers.

The Downstairs Garden Room

The lower ground floor conference room is a good size for meetings of 10 to 12 people and is a pretty room with french doors opening to the back garden area. 

Superfast Broadband and WIFI will be available throughout the hall. 

The lower ground floor can be accessed via internal stairs from the main hall or via external steps to its own entrance and lobby.

Toilet and Washroom facilities 

The lower ground floor has ladies’ and gents’ toilets and showers and changing facilities.
