About Tempsford Stuart Memorial Village Hall
Tempsford Village Hall is nearly 100 years old and is a really characterful location for events of all kinds. The Hall is large and there are three function rooms and a kitchen. It is a superb venue for events such as wedding receptions, children's and adults birthday parties, christening parties, music concerts, play groups, exercise and other classes, craft & antique fairs and conferences. Current classes include cardiac exercise, lindy hop and dog training and there are occasional yoga and martial arts classes. The Hall has a sprung dance floor and a stage which is suitable for small theatre performances and band practices and performances. Outside, there is a large lawn which is big enough for marquees and which can be used as a play area. We have enough table and chairs to cater for most occasions.
In 'theatre' format the Hall can hold as many as 150 people and, for more formal occasions such as weddings can hold 80-100 people depending on layout.
There is a large car park which, on request, can be extended into an overflow area. There is a ramp for less able customers to access the Hall from the car park.
The Hall is located at the very end of Church Street on the Church End (West of A1) side of Tempsford in north Bedfordshire. It is close to St. Neots, Potton, Sandy and Biggleswade. Sandy Station (east coast main line) is approximately 2 miles away.
