St John the Baptist

We are a friendly and welcoming church in green and leafy suburb with fantastic church halls which can be hired for regular or one off bookings. You can find us conveniently situated just off the A308 and A3 between Richmond Park and Wimbledon Common. Easily accessible by the 85, K3 and 265 buses but also has free car parking. 

Our fully accessible and modern refurbished halls are light and airy and are the perfect choice for a wide range of events. Adult, family or children's parties, regular clubs and meetings and certain indoor sports/exercise groups. As the hall is in a residential area, we need to be respectful of our neighbours and all parties must finish by 10.30pm to be cleared up by 11.00pm. We are sorry we cannot host teenage parties.

There is an excellent, large and recently updated kitchen which includes a fridge, hob, 2 ovens, microwave, commercial dishwasher, plumbed in urn, crockery and cutlery. The halls also benefit from baby changing facilities and an adjoining car park.

There is a selection of large rectangle tables and small square and round tables available.   Chairs available – 100.

Main Hall

Large and light hall with a wood effect floor. The hall can be decorated by using the hooks high up on walls to hang bunting or balloons. Dimmable wall lighting as well as bright strip lighting. Size: 14m x 8m.

Burnell Rooms

This cosier traditional style carpeted hall has an arched partition door which can be opened to provide one large area or closed for two smaller areas. Size: approx 12.8m x 4.5m.

Jubilee Community Garden

The stunning garden is located behind the church and is available to hire for small events. There are a limited number of tables and chairs and there is a brick BBQ. The garden is hired out with the hall so the hirer has use of the toilets and the hall can be used if the weather is inclement.

Andrews Wing Meeting Room
