The New Horizon Centre is a large community centre in Pollards Hill, London Borough of Merton, in the east of the borough and just a few metres from the borough of Croydon. It has free parking and step-free access throughout.
We have a Main Hall with capacity for up to 150 people; two smaller rooms with capacities of 40 and 60 people, a Teaching Room with capacity of 40, a cafe with lounge area for up to 30 people and a Board/Meeting Room with capacity for up to 20 people.
Availability and Hire Costs
Availability: We are open seven days a week, for approximately 51 weeks a year from 9am to 10pm as a minimum! Weekday lets must finish at 10pm and Saturday bookings must finish at 11pm. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate bookings on Sundays due to contracted lets. We have three rooms that we hire out specifically for family celebrations/memorials etc. We have community centre-type (long term) bookings throughout the week and the year but will always try to accommodate new bookings and we can take regular bookings too. We offer our Main Hall in particular for parties and celebrations on weekday afternoons (subject to availability) and on Saturday afternoons and evenings. We have two smaller spaces, our Front/middle room and the Craft Room.
Hire Costs: Hire costs are: Craft Room - £49.50 per hour + £100 deposit Front/Middle Room - £55 per hour + £100 deposit Main Hall - £82.50 per hour + £200 deposit Deposits are fully refundable. Terms & Conditions apply.
