The Trust worked closely with local people, businesses, organisations and experts to shape the plans for The Granville, and they have fuelled the vision for this much-loved venue.

The Granville offers a FREE Enterprise Advice service aimed at local residents but available to anyone who needs it.
Chris Rayner and Julian Hall are our resident business advisors with a wealth of experience and expertise that can help you if you’re starting up or running an already established business.

Venue Hire
There are a variety of rooms available to hire at The Granville, which is open is available 7 days a week between 8am to 11pm.
We have special rates available for local residents, small charities, small businesses and workspace members.


The Front Room
The Granville's largest and most flexible space. Featuring a bright staircase to the main entrance from the garden, capacity for over 120 people (if standing), and large windows overlooking the garden providing excellent natural light. This versatile space can also be separated for small and medium sized events, activities and meetings.


The Garden Room
A vibrant space with natural lighting and access to the garden. Great for all types of events. Located on the lower ground floor. Ideal for all events with a capacity of up to 80 people (if standing). Size - 874sq ft.


The Mirror Room
Multi-purpose space with sprung floor and mirrors, can be used for many different events. Ideal for fitness or dance class. Likewise excellent for team building and training days. Located on the lower ground floor. Capacity for up to 50 people (if standing). Size - 548sq ft.


Meeting Rooms
We have a small meeting room on the first floor which can accommodate 6 people, boardroom style.


The Garden
The garden is open to the public, however the space can be rented for exclusive use.

Additional Information
We have range of equipment and furniture, and catering options, including our own on site cafe who can do everything from coffee and cake to fantastic home cooked meals.
