I use the hall every Monday morning and have been for over a year now to run a cookery group called the make n munch bunch for persons with a learning disability.
We looked at several halls before choosing Garvestone village hall.
The group and I simply love using this hall as it is clean,spacious and well equipped.
Everybody involved in the up keep and running of the hall are amazing.
The group very much look toward to attending the hall on a Monday morning.
What's also great is the fact that the library and post office run from it too thus making it a valuable hub for the local community.
About Garvestone and Thuxton Village Hall
Our new village hall is located in the centre of the small rural village of Garvestone. It has a spacious main hall 16 x 12m with a sprung floor, a separate kitchen and servery, an entrance lobby and cloakroom, and toilet facilities including disabled/mother and baby change. The hall has premises and music licences but is not licensed for the sale or supply of alcohol. It is suitable for dances, functions, or parties, maximum 100 people seated at tables. Furniture, crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided, and projection/PA facilities are available. There are parking spaces for 40 cars, a children's play area, a bowling green and an open space for recreation.
