Newton & Bywell Community Hall is a registered charity run by local Trustees for the benefit of the Parish and the wider population. It is situated in a beautiful rural location in Northumberland, yet only 20 minutes from Newcastle on the A69. There is a large car park and a South facing patio which has picturesque views down the Tyne valley. The main hall, meeting room, or complete premises (including a modern kitchen) are available for hire for your wedding or other celebrations, classes, sporting activities, theatre productions, charity nights or meetings away from the office.
Availability and Hire Costs
Availability: Available all week and weekends, apart from Public Holidays
Hire Costs: Main Hall Only £9.50 per hour or part Available all week and weekends Discount for 6+ Bookings Meeting Room Only £9.50 per hour or part Available all week and weekends Discount for 6+ Bookings Entire Hall £19 per hour or part Meeting Room and Main Hall Available all week and weekends Discount for 6+ Bookings Other Hires Childs Party 5 Hour session – Main hall £50 Adults Party Entire hall for 1 Day £250 Entire Hall for 1/2 Day charged at the hourly rate. Wedding – 72 Hour Package Entire Hall – Friday to Sunday £700 Wedding – 48 Hour Package Midday Friday to Midday Sunday £500 For social bookings, Parish residents receive a 50% discount on hire charges. All hire charges include the use of: Kitchen facilities PA Equipment Surcharges Alcohol Licence £25 Supplementary Cleaning if requested after weddings and parties or if necessary after the end of the hire. £30 Hall tables and chairs are available for external hire by contacting the booking manager: Tables £6 per table Chairs £1 per chair
