About Peterhouse Church and Community Centre
The main Hall at Peterhouse is double height and measures approximately 10m x 12m. It is light and airy, and can seat 80 people around tables or 100 people in a theatre-style arrangement. There are two wall-mounted screens and wall-mounted speakers with an audio link. Plenty of chairs and rectangular tables are available for use, stored in cupboards that run along one side of the Hall. In 2021, the floor has been replaced, new chairs have been purchased, and the walls repainted.
The Hall opens onto the garden, which has a paved area leading onto a lawn and a wild garden. There is room to explore and space to enjoy the quiet tranquility of nature in the garden, which backs onto Epping Forest. Hall hire includes use of the garden.
There is ample space to accommodate bouncy castles both inside the Hall and outside in the garden.
The Hall has an attached kitchen, with ovens and gas hobs, a microwave, two sinks, a large fridge freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and lots of space to prepare food.
