About Fornighty Hall
Fornighty Hall was originally a church located on the Cawdor Estate. It was relocated on the back of a lorry to its current position in 1951. It was originally a standard prefabricated timber frame and corrugated iron clad church, one of the 75 made by Speirs & Company, Glasgow.
In 1952 a kitchen, dressing rooms and toilet block was added.
The main hall has a sports floor suitable for badminton, there is a stage, kitchen, store cupboard and toliets.
