About Tilney All Saints Village hall
In 2017, the hall underwent a major refurbishment, transforming it to become eco and disabled friendly locality with modern amenities throughout making it a welcoming and inviting centre for the local community, which has seen an increase in usage.
The modernisation includes:
• eco-friendly air source heating system to replace outdated and inefficient oil fired heated radiators
• new ceiling with LED lighting, vinyl flooring and fire-resistant doors
• installation of a disabled toilet together with baby changing facility
• addition of equipment storage cupboards
• painting and decorating throughout
• new upvc windows
• removing and replacing fascias and asbestos guttering/downpipes.
Since then, the car park has been revamped and resurfaced, and security cameras have been installed. The Kitchen has been modernised and a dishwasher installed.
Tilney All Saints Village Hall provides a venue and facilities for many local activities within the community including:
• a place for regular clubs to meet e.g. Art Club, Dog Training, Games Club, Table Tennis, Karate
• a location for people to hold parties such as Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc.
• the holding of weekly coffee mornings, where locals can meet and chat over a cuppa and a piece of cake
• a facility for the Village Hall Committee to host fund raising events
• a venue for regular local meetings such as Parish Council, Memories Group, Village Hall Committee
• a polling station.
However, there is spare capacity for the hall to be hired out further.
