The Grind Coffee House

The Grind Coffee House occupies the reception area inside Colchester Fitness Centre. Built using two customised shipping containers, this edgy-and-spacious coffee shop is equipped for hot-desking with numerous power points available, small gatherings (12 people seated) around its hand-crafted, glass-topped project table, or larger, more relaxed parties to chill on- and around the chesterfield sofas plus space to spill-out upstairs with additional soft-seating.

We're pleased to offer refreshment in the form of cold drinks from the fridge, plus teas and coffee. Our house blend is courtesy of Naughty Monkey Coffee Co of Colchester. It has a creamy, chocolatey flavour with orange, nutty notes and a heavy finish - it goes great with the fresh chocolate brownies courtesy of Colchester's Crouch St Bakes !

There is plenty of nearby parking, and the number S2 bus from town brings you to Fiveways Primary School, which is a only a 10minute walk away from the shop.

Although open to the general public and members of the gym between 9.00am and 6.30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, and between 9.00am and 2.00pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the space is available for private hire outside of these hours. Just get in touch and we'll work something out!
