About Great Broughton Village Hall
Great Broughton Village Hall was converted from the old School into a Hall in 1951, when the council bought the old Ingleby Road Chapel. In 1993, a committee was formed who run the Hall and it is now a registered charity.
Various classes take place within the Hall including Pilates, Ballet, Tai-chi, & Choirs, as well as monthly meetings of the Parish Council, Local History Society & W.I.
The Hall is available to hire throughout the year and is ideal for parties, art/music/theatre events, meetings, food events, fetes, table-top sales etc.
The main hall has capacity for 33 oblong tables and 130 seats. A stage can be provided. Theatrical lighting/sound systems are installed. There is a retractable screen for use as a projection/cinema screen etc.
The Meeting room is adjoined to the Bar area and can be used with or without the use of the kitchen area.
Kitchen is fully equipped with cooking facilities, warming cupboard, dishwasher etc as well as a bar/serving area complete with crockery, cutlery & glasses.
The building has a permanent disabled access via a ramp at the main entrance as well as a separate disabled toilet.
Other toilets are available as well as a separate cloakroom.
