About Sutton Bonington Village Hall

The Sutton Bonington Village Hall Committee (Trustees) has been overseeing the running and upkeep of the Village Hall for almost 70 years. The Village Hall is just over a 100 years old, built in 1912. It has been extended once in the 1950's and again in the 1970's. There has been a significant refurbishment of the Village Hall in the last 8 years. Through obtaining grants from Awards for All, Bernard Sunley Foundation, Rushcliffe Borough Council and other charitable organisations, as well as self- funding through fundraising events and dances, we have been able to raise the money to carry out the work.

The Village Hall is a registered charity and works hard to keep the Village Hall functional for the benefit of the local community. The Village Hall can be used by anyone and it has been our objective over the years to provide a facility to any individual or organisation which requires its use. Our main purpose is to make sure that the Village Hall is kept warm, safe and welcoming to users for whatever function. The Village Hall is central to the village and offers a range of facilities and activities used by many organisations.

Sutton Bonington village hall is used extensively for events and meetings throughout the year. It has a large open meeting area, a committee room and a kitchen. The village hall is available to use seven days a week and availability can be checked on bookings calendar and if you would like to request a booking for the Village Hall then please complete the online form.

The village hall can be booked for a minimum of one hour or for an entire weekend. You can use the village hall for many things from a tea party to a game of badminton, from a whist match to a wedding, from a children's birthday party to a dinner dance. You can see picture of some past and ongoing events.
