• I booked their NEW venue (B45 8PD) for a small event, can't fault the hall it's lovely and clean. HOWEVER, I can fault the customer service, it's appalling. I'm not one to write a bad review as I'm all for supporting local businesses & I was ready to speak highly of this venue, share on my socials & book for future events, but not anymore. I visited the venue in person and had a tour, I was told I need to provide a £100 security deposit that I can bank transfer over, I then asked if the event was to go over by 1 hour on the day can I pay the extra hourly fee, the guy said yes we will base this on trust. I did exactly this too, the event ran over by 1 hr due to late comers and I sent the additional fee as soon as possible. We left the place in the same state it was when we arrived, we cleaned up, stacked the chairs & put all tables away as how they should be. It's been almost 2 weeks since my booking and I have not heard back from them. I've been trying to call every other day at various times and no one picks up, I've sent an email and have had no reply. I refuse to believe there is nobody handling the telephone. I'm hoping they see this review that I am posting on ALL platforms and provide me with my security deposit refund AND an apology because this is utterly unacceptable.
